  • To be Released this year – The Nintendo 3DS Lite

    Nintendo are prominent video game makers; there have been the Gameboys, then the DS, DSlite, DSi and the 3DS, so now rightly so 2014 is the year of the 3DS Lite.

    It’s supposed to be an important on the Nintendo 3ds, but it’s a lot more bulky. It doesn’t have the facility to fold like the original 3DS, however, there have been hardware revisions. There will also be a big screen while the battery life and ergonomics are said to have been improved too. There are significant improvements, and it’s not just a facial redesign.

    2014 will be launch of the 3DS Lite, and it will be interesting to see if these notable improvements will make it a popular product against its rivals such as the PS Vita.

     

  • January – the Bets month for video games

    We all know just how popular games are today, but have you found that you’ve been gaming a lot more in January? If so, there are many different reasons for this.

    January is known as quite a dull month. Christmas is over, the weather if gloomy, and there’s not an awful lot to look forward to. With this said, it means we’re just more likely to spend more time video gaming, because we have the time to do so.

    January is also a big month for gaming because many people have purchased their new games and consoles with their Christmas money or have perhaps have received them as a Christmas present. There really is no better time for gaming than January, and if you’re finding yourself playing video games a lot more, don’t worry, we all are.

  • Xbox One Gamepad vs PS4 controller

    As the Xbox and Playstation start another fierce rivalry with the release of their consoles, so too do their controllers or gamepads.

    Like the previous Playstation controller, the Dual Shock 4 is relative easy to get used, to, and it’s slightly larger than its pervious controller, which is something many Sony fans have picked fault at in the past.

    It’s most noteworthy feature is a central clickable touchpad, while it’s in easy reach and very comfortable to use. The Xbox One controller is pretty much the same as the Xbox 360 gamepad, it fits extremely comfortable into your hand, while the Xbox button is placed slightly higher, in a more suitable position. Following this, the triggers have a bit more spring, and if you were driving a vehicle, the acceleration is a lot easier to control.

    Both controllers have had some improvements, but we feel the touchpad may take the championship this year round, but then again don’t take our word for it.

     

  • Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer Trailer Revealed

    Last week, Activision wrapped up its current Call of Duty release schedule by announcing the ultimate map pack DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. With that out of how, the publisher is now focusing its attention on its next-generation title, Call of Duty: Ghosts.

    As promised earlier this week, a brand new trailer showing off the multiplayer gameplay in Ghosts was released. As with the unique reveal of Ghosts during Microsoft’s Xbox One announcement conference, military dogs are once more heavily featured. Unsurprisingly, the multiplayer gameplay in Ghosts seems to be largely akin to previous Call of Duty titles. New mechanics along with leaning around corners and sliding also are shown in action.

    One new twist revealed within the video is the hot Search and Rescue multiplayer mode. The competitive mode could have players drop dog tags as they die, and teammates should collect those self same tags to restore players. Enemies, however, can take dog tags to forestall players at the other team from respawning.

    A mode called Cranked, new weapons, and feminine soldiers also are previewed within the trailer, which incorporates a pretty intense Eminem song:
